Why on earth do I own this? I own every song on it on vinyl already, some several times over, with the single exception of “Mother Fist,” which ain’t a favorite. I also own them all on CD. Seriously, why would I buy this compilation? Could it have been a gift from someone?
Oh . . . that strikes a chord. That’s just possible. There’s no other rational explanation. This must have been a gift. Anyway . . . it’s a bunch of well-known Marc Almond singles, nearly all of which I’ve written about already. It came out in 1987. I own it. It’s on vinyl. That’s about all there is to say.
