Jenny Lewis – Joy’All
I guess one good Jenny Lewis deserves another, so here’s another – 2023’s “Joy’All.” I was uncharacteristically aware that this was coming out. Sometimes the algorithm gets it right. It may also have been because, in my efforts to learn the bass, I follow bassist Ryan Madora, who provided bass on the tour for this record. In any case, bought this shortly after it was released in 2023, and it’s another mellow Sunday morning kind of record. Bit more of a country tinge than I would normally go for, but it never descends too far into it.
